Get in the Christmas Spirit

For awhile now I haven't felt a true Christmas Spirit. You know the anticipation, the extreme decorations, the pure joy of it all. It started last year when I didn't even know what day of the month we were on until Christmas Eve and then Christmas was gone. Sure I got presents, saw my family, and had a great dinner but that was it.

This year I'm having some of the same problems, but I want to celebrate Christmas for the gift it is. Even though Christmas was never originally about Jesus, its still the fact that He came down from His throne to save us sorry suckers. And its about family, one day of the year when all of the family drama is in one place but we try to ignore it and have a fantastic time. And its about the food, the amazing food that lasts till the 31st.

So if you're having some of the same problems as me or even if you're not, put on some Christmas music, watch A Charlie Brown Christmas, make some hot chocolate, and go be with your family.

Happy Holiday and keep it Typical TeenAge

Day 2 of Fantasyland Adventure

Since I went to bed at like 1am yesterday after waking up at 3am to get here, waking up at 7am was not pleasant. But the fun continues. We went back to Magic Kingdom for the official ribbon cutting for the New Fantasyland.

Now guess who cut the ribbon? Ginnifer Goodwin, Snow White, from Once Upon a Time, now how fitting is that. I nearly lost my mind, and standing right next to her, Jordin Sparks. Mindblown, of course Micky was there dressed in his royal best along with the chairman of Disney whose name I don't know, and don't really care about.

So after the ribbon cutting we moved to Cinderella castle. Ginnifer Goodwin introduced Jordin Sparks and we got front row seats to a Holiday Concert with singing and dancing and all your favorite princesses and princes, except Merida, but that may be because she is to young and doesn't have a prince.

On to fantasyland we went, after eating a much needed breakfast. And after we went to Space Mountain of course.

Now on to Fantasyland. We rode the famous tea cups, the new Dumbo the Flying Elephant and The Barnstormer.

Now let me tell you about the Barnstormer. From Dumbo you can see the roller coaster, so I get excited and want to ride. Since we have media clearance we get to go through the fast pass line, but we still have a little wait, no big deal.

Now we are in our seats going up the long climb then we come down, go around and the ride is over. The funny part is the kids in front of us are all "that was awesome" and my brother is all "can we go again" and I'm like "seriously?!?!" So for kids twelve and under best ride ever for others not so much, but it was still cute.

Finally we got a sneak peak of the Be Our Guest Restaurant. Sadly it was not open for eating, only tours. And it was beautiful exactly like the Beast's castle with stained glass window with different parts of Belle's and the Beast's story.

Day 1 of Fantasyland Adventure

We arrived at about 2:30 and guess what? We got the Lion King room and it is awesome I will show you some pictures later. Also Mufasa is over looking my room Lol.

So the New Fantasyland is quite colorful and kid friendly. We got to see the Storybook Circus where we ate.

And let me tell you what we ate. Braised beef that fell of my fork, herb buttered mash potatoes, some pretty cool green beans, and real ratatouille. It was perfect, no lie.

After we ate we wandered around and saw that statue of Gaston, the Be Our Guest Restaurant, and Arial's two new rides. We went through Enchanted tales with Belle, a cute interactive show for the younger, but still enjoyable.

We also went on Under the Sea- Journey of The Little Mermaid. You ride through the story of Ariel in a giant clam and sing along.

Since it was dark I didn't see too much, but from what I could tell there are still attractions being built, and I can't wait to see them.

I'm going to the new Fantasyland Disney Park

Because my mom is awesome we get to go to the grand opening of New Fantasyland at Disney World. We leave tomorrow. I truly can't wait we get to stay in the new resort they built, I'm hoping we get a Finding Nemo room or a Lion King room.

The park is supposed to have Belle's village and the Little Mermaid's castle. There's gonna be so much to see and I can't wait. I will be taking my phone and my Ipad so I will try to write a post everyday if I can remember.

I Went to Snow Mountain

I went to Snow Mountain, I went to Snow Mountain. Super fun, was not as cold as I thought it would be, and a little bit of a workout. My brother my mom and I went down the tube runners 3 time each. Lol no matter how hard you try you cannot steer that tube. Then we went on Avalanche Alley, now that was the real attraction. Higher than the tube runners and much faster. You are in a blue tube that can fit five and then you go over the edge....... To the adrenaline junky I suggest going down backwards.

After maybe 2 hours of tubing we went to the Forever Christmas show at the Magnolia Theater, witch was incredibly annoying to find (my feet were hurting). But anyway it was a pretty good show singing and dancing and rapping, I was not prepared for that last one. And as a treat for the kids there is a sort of puppet show if you like that sort of thing.

I also recommend the Polar Express experience in 4D. A loud and a little wet at times 20 minute sum up of the movie. There was a pitiful parade a 6 but it had bubbles so...

After that we decorated cookies in the Memorial Hall, well I decorated a cookie and it turned out pretty well if I do say so my self. And for dinner we had fried chicken, corn on the cob, rolls, beans, and funnel cake, and washed it down with a cherry frosty.

It was a good day and I hope you get to enjoy one like it. Keep it Typical TeenAge.
